It's simple

Our centres are used to working closely with clients and have some of the most established networks across the region. We’re here to support your business goals and want you to feel empowered to do so.

Did we mention: It’s completely fully funded?

Who’s able to apply for this?

We’re inviting businesses across Glasgow, Inverclyde, North and South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire, and West Dunbartonshire.

Is there a cost to access this support and guidance?

Nope, none at all! The project is fully funded. We’ve invested £1.2 million in establishing six new Innovation Hubs across Glasgow and the West of Scotland to foster innovation in local businesses.

Why are colleges delivering the Innovation Centres?

Colleges are delivering the Innovation Centres because they play a crucial role in driving workforce and business innovation. These centres act as vital catalysts in strengthening the broader innovation ecosystem, leveraging the colleges’ expertise, resources, and networks to support digital transformation and productivity across the region. It makes sense doesn’t it?

How quickly after I complete the assessment will I hear back?

One of our experts will be in touch within 5 working days to give feedback and what we can offer you and connect you to the Innovation Centre that’s the best fit for your business needs.

What size of organisations is this open to?

This is open to all organisations in the Glasgow City Region. For organisations with less than 20 employees to larger organisations with excess of 500+.

I’m not sure my company is Innovative – and I’m apprehensive about applying.

Don’t be. Complete the Innovation Assessment and we’ll be in touch.

What will I be entitled to through my allocated Innovation Centre?

You will receive fully funded support to boost your business productivity, insights into your digital innovation maturity, expertise for new product development, access to testing and development facilities, and connections to a dedicated network of colleges and their support ecosystem.

Will there be aftercare given when the project ends?

Your Innovation Centre will endeavour to support you throughout your innovation journey and beyond. Our aim to drive digital innovation and productivity doesn’t end when the funding does.

Engaging with the Centre for Sustainable Development at South Lanarkshire College has opened up numerous opportunities for Lanarkshire Larder to enhance our business. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with the students and Innovation Team there and look forward to a long and lasting relationship.

Jill Connell, Lanarkshire Larder

Working with the team at the City of Glasgow College has been seamless, helping us theme learning for our teams around innovation.

The feedback we’ve had from participants has been very positive and we have already seen innovative ideas move from concept to launch, supporting the delivery of our services.

James Conaghan, Learning and Development Manager, Glasgow Life

West College Scotland should be extremely proud of the way they build relationships with external partners. Their commitment to helping us navigate through the complexity of workforce development has been exemplary.

Without this guidance at times, we would be lost.

Mark Cowan, HR Director, Scottish Leather Group

Working in partnership with our local community has been a great opportunity for GXO/Sainsbury to forge close links with South Lanarkshire College while supporting Horticulture students and giving them an opportunity to work and learn from a business environment during their studies.

This initiative has given all parties the opportunity to offer creative ways for innovative solutions and to look forward to new ones!
